Gli appassionati di musica elettronica sicuramente sanno già di cosa stiamo parlando: circolano infatti da qualche anno sulla rete degli incredibili video, che ricevono ogni giorno migliaia di visualizzazioni, ad opera di autori che si firmano come "the29nov". Le clip in questione sono editing video studiati per dare un tocco visivo ai più incredibili pezzi di musica elettronica in circolazione, dimostrando da parte degli autori un duplice talento: quello nel ricercare le più pregiate tracce in uscita (specialmente nel panorama Techno) e nel realizzare per ognuna di esse un video diverso. L'atmosfera di questi video é decisamente underground, sia nelle sonorità, sia nelle immagini. Ma chi si cela dietro a questi video? Gli autori si chiamano Kevin Paschold e Sebastian Kökow, due ragazzi che si sono uniti alla inarrestabile crescita artistica di Berlino. Abbiamo rivolto loro qualche domanda a proposito del loro progetto:
- IT: Potete dirci perché, come e quando the29nov é nato? Spiegate la scelta del nome the29nov.
E' nato il 29 novembre 2006 come un progetto musicale. Abbiamo semplicemente messo il "the" davanti alla data (come alcune rock band fighe)
- EN: Can you tell us why, how and when the29nov was born? Explain the29nov's name choice.
It start's in 2006 - at the 29 november as an music project. We just put a "the" in front of the the date (like other "cool" rock bands).
- IT: Qual'é l'obiettivo di questo progetto?
Non c'é nessuno scopo in particolare. Stiamo semplicemente facendo quel che vogliamo/quel che ci piace.
- EN: Which is the target of this project?
There's no special target. Just doing what we want/what we like.
- IT: Quanti video postate alla settimana, e quante ore passate alla ricerca di musica e filmati per realizzare i vostri videoclip?
Insieme al mio partner Sebastian circa 5-10 (dal 2007 oltre 1000). Trovare la musica non é granché difficile, perché in giro c'é buona musica quanto basta e se troviamo una traccia interessante é un passo veramente breve trovare il materiale video.
- EN: How many videos do you post every week, and how many hours do you spend searching for music and movies to make your videoclips?
Together with my partner Sebastian maybe 5-10 (since 2007 over 1000). Finding music is not so difficult because there is enough good music around, and if we find a interesting track its just a short step to find the video material.

Non c'é una gran differenza: nella sezione Classics trovi video che erano stati caricati su canali che sono stati chiusi. Le sezioni Forever and Films sono per le ultime uscite.

There's no big difference: in Classics you find videos that were uploaded on channel which get closed. Forever and Films are for the latest releases.

- EN: Tell us a couple name of artists and labels that have most influenced you.
Artist: Schleimkeim, Can, Kraftwerk, Neu, Tommi Stumpff, Deutsch Amerikanische Freundschaft, Atari Teenage Riot, Sonic Youth. Labels: Mute, Basic Channel, Syr, Warp, Ostgut Ton, Studio One.
